The week ahead at The Hub on the Green

I'm all fired up for the week now - I have just spoken to Simon who is in the States working hard for the cause and my brain is firing on all cylinders...

This week at the hub:
Monday - Yoga Babies and then pop in for coffee at noon. Make and Take Club will be making finger knitted snake scarves at 4pm.
Tuesday - I am meeting a reporter in the morning then getting creatively messy at printing workshop at noon (just come along) or pop in for a coffee. The afternoon has Wriggle Rhythms for toddlers at 2pm with Feldenkrais starting at 6pm
Wednesday - Gentle hatha yoga at 9:45am, pop in for a coffee at noon as well as Rach's knitting group. Then baby signing with Sophie at 2pm and Argintine tango later in the evening.
Thursday we are closed for coffee but we are playing host to a private party.
Friday is fabulous Wriggle Rhythms for tiny tots at 11am and coffee at noon with Kim's stitching group.

We are definitely getting busier and I love it! We are also nearly full for the Christmas Cake and Craft Fair on 26th November. We may have one table left so if you are interested or know someone who is then please do get in touch. We are also looking for donations of cakes on the day (Christmassy ones are particularly welcome) which we sell to raise funds for the hub. I think I may have to hunt down Jan and my crumble topped mince pie recipe from our cafe days. They were seriously good.

We will also have a Christmas raffle and have a bottle of Bollinger Champagne as the star prize.
Badge-making and glass-etching will be our family craft activities. I am going to make my Lottie a badge that says 'I Hate Sprouts' as we are coming dangerously close to sprout season. We will have Advent Calendars for sale as well as Christmas Cards. Little Stitch and Kimbows will be there. We will have more of our fabulous knitted tea cosies from Nino and knitted dolls from Jenny. Roberta will have some Christmas chutneys and Sonia is selling some of her sparkly creations. Or you can come and have a rest, a great cup of coffee and something yummy from the cake table...now that's a good plan :)
