I'm not sure what happened...

I'm not sure what happened to Friday's post. It just never happened which is a bit of a shame because that is in no way a reflection of what happened at the hub on the day.

Coffee time was great. I love it. Dominoes and Christmas cake. Perfect. Good company too.

After coffee time Mary and Jo from The Women's Network started setting up for their 2pm Beat the Blues session. We were guessing chair numbers. We couldn't have been more wrong. Those ladies just kept on coming and Mary and co just kept on fetching those chairs. In the end there must have been 25 people in a large circle ready to start. Thank you to my mum who kept the cups of tea on the go. Yet again, I couldn't have done it without you! I stayed for the first hour and wanted to stay for the second but I had a Lottie to collect. It is amazing how many people are struggling at the moment but there are groups out there to offer support, ideas, strategies, a listening ear, company... if you are interested in coming next week, it is £1.50 and that includes refreshments. Just come along or if that sounds a bit too big a step contact Jo (womensnetwork@mindex.org.uk or 07724 135011) or Joey (07950 961751) and we can arrange to meet you outside and come in with you. Sometimes walking in with someone makes it much easier.

Soon we will have Tai Chi on a Friday night too with Sue Daniels who was taught by Angus Clark. If you would like to find out more about Tai Chi, Sue is has a taster session on Friday 20th January 6:30-8:00pm which is free. It's going to be another goody.

  1. I am so sorry about the first version of this post. It has a catalogue of mistakes in it. Hopefully they are sorted now!
